The Business Development Manager (BDM) is part of the commercial team and reports the CCO. The primary objective of the BDM is to create and develop new business. He/she enables clients to achieve their business priorities: the BDM identifies and understands the clients’ business issues and guides these clients towards execution of a solution-oriented client-approach.

Selling the unique solution requires a consultative selling approach in a highly solution driven environment (definitely no product sales). Bringing in a hands-on mentality is required in this highly entrepreneurial environment. 

The BDM cooperates with partners, for instance to define managed services and mobile workplaces, in order to develop strategic relationships to deliver seamless solutions to the market. He/she develops account plans and defines proposals for presentation to the partners. 

  • Multiple years’ experience in enterprise software and solutions related business, experience in an intermediary role in B2B is a plus
  • Able to articulate business benefits of enterprise software products
  • Experience in entrepreneurial environment 
  • Can-do attitude, evangelizing skills
  • Able to draft, create and develop solutions which enables clients to reach their goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch, German is a plus
  • Able and willing to travel (Netherlands, and internationally)
