The Marketing Director will have product managers and business managers reporting to him/her. The Business Managers steer the sales force.

The role of Marketing Director requires value proposition creation, understanding of a ‘customer journey’, territory planning and prioritization, working closely with sales, product development and (strategic) business partners. He/she identifies relevant product concepts that address the needs of the customers and/or end users within the different market segments. Contribute to the Stage-gate decision making by supplying relevant market information.

The Marketing Director will act as the focal point for the prioritization & feedback of all marketing information & positioning requirements. The Marketing Director demonstrates thought leadership based on a deep understanding of customers’ business drivers. He/she shows leadership and direction to the cross-functional virtual team and an ability to unify the virtual team around common goals.

  • Academic degree 
  • 15 years of relevant experience in the field of B2C and B2B marketing/sales
  • Strong and proven track record in:
    • Establishing profitable growth with a team
    • Developing creative solutions for the market
    • Product Innovation
    • Marketing: segmentation and research, value proposition development
    • Engaging (sales) people worldwide
    • Knowledge and understanding of North American, Asian and European market dynamics in relevant market segments
  • Personal characteristics:
